Usagi Yojimbo is the gold standard for consistent, quality comics made by a single artist. It's downright criminal that a craftsman like Sakai who has never really stopped making great, single issue comics with this character doesn't have more recognition than he does. And he has lots! He just deserves it all.
Anyway, this is the first volume in a massive reprint series that picks up with the Mirage series (as far as I know Fanta is maintaining in print the first volume which they published in the eighties.
Some scuff damage. this is a reader copy. And it's the first edition with the cool cover.
