The Image published deluxe hardcover from 2012.
Good, and set in San Francisco, but if anything the grisliness of the crimes feels tame compared to living life in 2025. Plus some truly breathtaking cringe adolescent writing from Brubaker. He's mostly excised this from contemporary work, but you still get a glimpse every once in a while.
The intro by Bendis is genuinely very good--a masterclass in book intros if I ever saw one.
Note the slight color breaking crease on an interior page. This happens in one other location in the book.
