Lifedeath trilogy by Barry Windsor-Smith

$45.00 / Sold Out

Lifedeath was originally published as issue 186 of Uncanny X-Men by Chris Claremont and guest artist Barry Windsor-Smith. About a year later in issue 198, BWS returned for the sequel. The third part was written and drawn by Windsor-Smith, but rejected by Marvel. It ultimately was recast and published as "Adastra in Africa" by Fantagraphics in 1999. Adastra is a character from Windsor-Smith's "Young Gods" series that he was working on in the late 90s, but for all intents and purposes this is the final part of the story. Included here alongside it are reprints of the first two parts of Lifedeath as seen in Classic X-Men.
